Femme Editorial

Earlier this spring my dear friend Jenzel and I carried multiple loads of buckets and water, armfuls of forsythia and cherry branches up and down the 500 or so stairs to Wreck Beach for a little project called “Femme”. In addition to being physically empowering (ha! we all hurt for days after), it was a very emotionally empowering experience as well. In all of our lives we can find ourselves hardened by experiences; but if our hearts are open, we can move and grow through these experiences, with beauty and grace.

Colour Theory 2018

I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since the life changing workshop I took with Tinge Floral in Park City! Attending was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever given myself. I felt that Ashley and I were kindred spirits! She has the sweetest demeanour and the most humble teaching style; yet her talent is a deep, endless well.

I got to handle so many flowers I had only seen in pictures, met so many wonderful floral friends and learned from my most respected industry creatives like Sarah Winward, Ginny Au, and Tess Comrie.

Let’s not forget to mention the luxurious setting, Washington School House Hotel! The investment was worth every penny, and I truly couldn’t recommend this experience enough.
